Renew Counselling and Training
Now more than ever, the work of mental health and counselling charities like Renew plays an essential role in supporting people in our community. Our counselling services offer mental health support to those who need it, while our work in training and supervision helps to ensure that counsellors are working to the highest standards, with new counsellors joining the profession every year through our courses.
We are able to carry out this important work thanks to the funding that we receive from a range of sources, including:
Each session of counselling that we provide costs us £48, but we are often able to offer low-cost counselling through subsidised bursary places, thanks to the funding that we receive.
When a client gets in touch with us to book an initial assessment, we are able to discuss the current funding available and ascertain their eligibility. Where there is no funding available, we work with clients to determine what level of support they may need from us in order to cover the costs of counselling.
Below, we list some of the funding available:
Funded by Basildon and Brentwood CCG
Funded by Mid Essex CCG
Funded by Epping County Council, following on from the support provided during the Covid-19 pandemic
Funded by Castlepoint Council
Funded by Shaw Trust
We are also grateful to have received funding from Essex Community Foundation and Anglia Water.
