COUNSELLING

Accessing COUNSELLING with Renew

Taking the decision to start counselling can cause you to experience a range of emotions. You might be feeling nervous about what counselling will entail. You may be feeling relieved because you’ve taken steps to get through a difficult period in your life. You could even be feeling disappointed or defeated about returning to counselling.

All of these emotions are completely understandable, but it’s also important to celebrate the fact that you’ve taken this first step. By seeking help, you’re putting your wellbeing first – and we want to support you to do just that.

Renew’s counsellors are here to provide you with the space and knowledge you need to become a stronger, happier you. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach or a pre-determined number of sessions, care will always be tailored to your needs. We know that everyone comes to counselling with their own individual experiences, and that is why it’s so important to us that the service we provide is unique to each individual.

We’re proud to be accredited by the BACP and abide by their code of ethics. We are also featured on the Counselling Directory

About our counselling services

Where are Renew’s services based?

Our services are based in Chelmsford, Basildon, Brentwood and in schools across Essex and East London.

What sort of service does Renew offer?

We are a multi-modal counselling service – this means that our counsellors work in a range of different ways. Our counselling is primarily face-to-face, however, there may be some circumstances where online counselling might be more suitable for you.

how much does it cost?

Renew offers low-cost, and sometimes funded, professional counselling to the community and surrounding areas.

We strive to offer a service that rivals an expensive private practice, but at an affordable price. The actual cost of a counselling session is around £45-£50 but, in many cases, we can subsidise this.
