I manage the Sycamore Centre and have done so for nearly seven years. I have been a qualified counsellor now for over 20 years, a supervisor for 14 years and a Barnardo’s registered counsellor, also for 14 years. I am a strong advocate of the benefits of counselling and the huge need for mental and emotional health support. I believe passionately that this is a service that should be available to all and that’s why I believe passionately in Renew. Being able to offer affordable counselling to the community, to be able to help people to help themselves, to make changes, to be the best they can be, is a privilege and the best job anyone could wish for.
