Join us for ‘Understanding ADHD across the lifespan’ with Dr Sharon Saline
Would you like practical tools to help people of all ages with ADHD harness their natural potential, reduce stress and get things done?
We’re delighted to be working with Dr Sharon Saline, a clinical psychologist, author and consultant with over 30 years of clinical experience, on our next online CPD session.
Join us for ‘Understanding ADHD across the lifespan: improving counselling with neurodivergent children, teens and adults’
Friday 20 September,
2pm – 5pm
Online CPD
In this dynamic and interactive workshop, Dr. Sharon Saline helps you navigate the confusing mix of biology, behaviour and emotion that characterize ADHD in children, teens and adults.
This complexity, in addition to issues like racism, gender identity and trauma, affects how clinicians make diagnostic assessments, identify co-occurring conditions and create effective treatment interventions.
Dr. Saline will review current research and statistics about ADHD, delineate neurological factors that characterize ADHD, explore common co-existing conditions and offer innovative, practical strategies for improving executive functioning skills.
Throughout the workshop, exercises designed to understand living with neurodivergent brains and case examples will offer participants the opportunity to conceptualize clinical work with this population that goes beyond medication and crisis management.
You will leave this workshop with tangible strategies for identifying and nurturing cognitive and social-emotional strengths in your clients with ADHD.
The cost of this fascinating session is £30. To book your place, please contact Lesley Roberts: lesleyroberts@renew.org.uk.
